B.VOC - Airline and Airport management

B.VOC or Bachelor of Vocation is a specialized 3-year undergraduate program designed to provide skill-based education. It focuses on practical training, industry exposure, and skill development in specific vocations. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, enhancing students’ employability in their chosen field.

B.VOC as a course is gaining popularity in India because of the focus on skill-based education. With central government programs such as Skill India, vocational education will pave the way for more employment opportunities in the various sectors of the economy.

Candidates seeking B.VOC admission in India should secure at least 50 % to 60 % in 10+2 exams or diploma exams, as mandated by the admitting university/college.

B.VOC is a three-year degree course after higher Secondary with multiple entry and exit points. Students completing the first year get a diploma certificate, after second year they get the Advanced Diploma certificate and after completion of three years , they get a UG degree . the course curriculum has 40% general education (theory) and 60% vocational training (practical) components.

These programs follow a semester system and offer credits after completion of the course, the students who have enrolled in BVOC courses appreciate the practical focus and are confident that their chances of getting a suitable job and higher than other graduates. These courses are expected to comply with NSQF and UGC .
