You must take ground classes to pass the DGCA Examinations for a ground class in India. These courses include theoretical classes, practical training, and flying experience.
By the end of this course, the students will have learned quite a bit about aircraft systems, flight operations, navigation, regulations, meteorology, and human performance. It will also prepare the students appropriately for passing the test conducted by the DGCA ground classes in Jaipur.
According to DGCA Standards, candidates for Ground Staff Training must be in class 12th and have a minimum score of 50% in their primary subjects, math and physics.

This subject covers principles of navigation, air routes, radio navigation, and all the major equipment used in navigation.

In this, you will get to know about metrological study, weather charts, forecasting, and the interpretation of metrological data.

This subject consists of the rules and regulations set by the DGCA regarding air traffic, aviation strategy, and licensing procedures.

This part considers the fabrication, construction, and overall maintenance of aircraft, including how to install engines, instruments, systems, and other equipment.

Here you will learn about how flight is managed using the principles of the flight plan, aircraft performance, and weight and balance determination.

This includes any limitations related to physical and mental limits that might impact a pilot’s flying training and related factors.

This consists of the procedure to be followed while in motion, including pre-flight check, take-off, landing, and emergency procedures.

This part consists of communication between the aircraft and the ground station using radio. It covers standard phraseology and procedure.
You must consider some points when enrolling in the Airport Ground Staff Training.

To be a Commercial Pilot is to be a master of systems. While the world sees the grace of an aircraft in flight, the pilot sees a complex symphony of physics, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics. This book is designed to pull back the curtain on that symphony.
We begin with the immutable laws of Newton and Bernoulli—not as abstract concepts, but as the invisible hands that hold your wings in the air. From the internal combustion of a piston engine to the intricate redundancies of hydraulic systems, Aircraft Technical & General bridges the gap between ‘knowing’ and ‘understanding.’ Our goal is to ensure that when you sit in the cockpit, you aren’t just an operator—you are the final authority on the machine you command.”
Best for students who might feel overwhelmed by technical jargon.
“Every captain started exactly where you are sitting now: looking at a cockpit full of gauges and wondering how it all works. Aviation is a field where ‘close enough’ isn’t an option, but that doesn’t mean the learning process has to be a struggle.
This book was written to make the complex simple. We’ve stripped away the dense academic fluff to focus on the practical technical knowledge you need to ace your exams and, more importantly, to fly safely. Whether we are discussing the four strokes of an engine or the way a wing handles a stall, we’ve kept the focus on the ‘why.’ Welcome to the next level of your journey. The sky is no longer the limit; it is your office.”
